Work duties
Operate a windrower to cut lucerne, oats, wheat, canola and other hay or forage crops and lay them into even windrows for drying and later baling or harvesting; monitor crop condition, moisture and cutting height and adjust machine settings; set up and use GPS guidance and autosteer; routine machine checks and reporting of maintenance or safety issues.

Hourly rate
$35.00/hour (as stated in the ad).

Requirements
Windrower/swather operating experience, Experience with canola, cereals, pulses, hay or forage crops, Able to set up and use GPS guidance and autosteer systems, Tractor operating experience, Basic mechanical knowledge
Licences
Driver's licence (essential)
Cutting and windrowing hay and forage crops is crop harvesting work and generally counts as specified work (plant and animal cultivation).
