Transport

Car recommended. Reid says there is no suitable public transport to the packing shed and you need to arrange your own. Huonville town has buses, but the packing shed is out on the highway.

Getting there without a car

Tassielink runs Hobart–Huonville buses (Huon Valley timetable effective 5 July 2026, routes such as 710 / X710, stopping at Huonville bus stop). But Reid still says there is no suitable public transport to the packing shed — carpool with co-workers, or stay at a Huonville hostel near the highway.
